Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our browser-based image compression service. Please read it carefully.
1Image Processing & Zero Data Retention
Your privacy is our absolute priority. All image compression is performed exclusively using the HTML5 Canvas API, which runs entirely within your local web browser on your own device. Your images are NEVER uploaded, transmitted, stored, or accessed by our servers at any point. The moment you close or refresh the browser tab, all image data is permanently and automatically cleared from your device's active memory. We have zero technical ability to access, view, or retain any image you process.
2Information We Collect
Because our service operates entirely within your browser and requires no account creation, we collect absolutely no personally identifiable information (PII). We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or any image content. We collect only standard, anonymized, aggregate analytics data — such as general browser type, device category, country-level location, and language preference — solely to understand how our service is used and to improve its performance. This data cannot be used to identify you.
3Analytics & Tracking Technologies
We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to collect anonymized, aggregate website usage statistics. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to help us understand traffic patterns, popular features, and overall site performance. We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking tools beyond these two services. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4GDPR, CCPA & Global Privacy Compliance
Because we collect no personal data and your images never leave your device, our service is inherently compliant with major privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents, and similar privacy laws worldwide. There is no personal data for us to disclose, sell, or delete, meaning your rights to access, correction, deletion, and data portability are automatically and fully satisfied. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal data to any third party under any circumstances.
5Children's Privacy (COPPA)
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. In practice, since our service collects no personal information from any user of any age, our tool is inherently safe for use by children. We fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child's use of this service, please contact us — though we can assure you that no data of any kind is collected or stored.
6Cookies
We use a limited number of cookies solely for analytics purposes via Google Analytics. These are non-essential, statistical cookies and do not track personal information or image content. You may disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core image compression functionality of our service in any way.
7Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or data practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
8Security
Since no image data or personal information is ever transmitted to or stored on our servers, the risk profile of our service is fundamentally minimal. All image processing occurs locally on your device, inside your browser's sandboxed environment, which is protected by your browser's built-in security model.
9Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our practices. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
